 Lanark, Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 601 store cattle.

 Bullocks (299) averaged 228.7p to 262p per kg for a pen of 374kg (Lim) from J. & A. Galloway, Lochyoch, Carmichael and £1,260 gross twice for a pen of 590kg (Brbx) Overall Champion from G. Watson & Co., The Law, Dechmont and for a 546kg Lim from F. Taylor, Millwell, Chapelton.

 Heifers (265) averaged 214p to 257.5p per kg for a pen of 402kg (Lim) from J. & A. Galloway, Lochyoch, Carmichael and £1,165 gross for a pen of 522kg (Lim) from G. Watson & Co., The Law, Dechmont.

 Dairy Bred (25) averaged 167p to 198.4p for a pen of 514kg (Fkv) from T. & H. Frame, Thinacre, Quarter.

 Good quality and grazing cattle continued to sell well despite the deadweight price falling again.
