The dispersal of Ian Farquhar’s Insch flock of Texels lead the prices at today’s sale of in-lamb ewes at Lanark, with a top call of 5200gns made by Steven Renwick for a 2011-born ET bred ewe, IIF1100137. This Glenside Razzle Dazzle daughter is out of a Garngour Nobleman daughter and goes back to a Knock ewe by Glenside Loneranger. She sold in-lamb to Strathbogie Terminator.

Sale Leader 5,200gns

Second top price was 4000gns, with this achieved twice. First at this money was another 2011-born ewe, IIF1100228, another by Razzle Dazzle and out of a Knock ewe by Glenside Mylord. Going back to Muiresk Heir Apparent she was also in-lamb to Terminator and sold to Messrs Green, Larahill.

The other at this price was an Insch gimmer, IIF1200298. This ET bred gimmer is by Razzle Dazzle and out of the same dam as the sale leader. She sold in-lamb to Terminator and back bought by Albert and George Howie, Knock.
