At their opening sale of breeding sheep Lawrie & Symington had forward 5496 Scotch Mule, Texel Ewes, Gimmers & Store Lambs.

At the show prior to the sale sponsored by Natural Stockcare Ltd, the Judge J Bell, Highfield awarded the Gimmer Championship to Messrs Stewart, Crookboat which was sold later for £158. Top price was £166 from J.B Pate & Sons, Toxside for the second prize pen. The 1598 Scotch Mule Gimmers averaged £133.22 (against £133.70 last year for 321 more).  

In the ewe lamb section the Champion pen was awarded to Messrs J & A Galloway, Lochlyoch which realised £120, the reserve ticket was won by Messrs Stewart Crookboat which sold for £116. The 1328 Scotch Mule Ewe Lambs averaged £97.94 (£89.15 last year for 105 more)
