Lawrie & Symington Ltd sold 30 Dairy Cattle, 8 Calves, 48 Prime Cattle, 76 Cast Cows, 2931 Prime Sheep and 682 Cast Sheep at their weekly sale on 17thMarch 2014.

Prime and Cast Sheep; (3614) Hoggets (2931) averaged 209p per kg and sold to 237.2p per kg for a 39kg Chev from A. Bell, Lawhill, Law  and to £110.50 for 47kg Tex from A. Middleton, Loanford, West Calder. Prime sheep sharper on the week with good export types 210p to 220p. Included in the sale was 1255 Blackface Hoggs that levelled at 204.8p on an average weight of 36.7p.
