Bullocks (11) sold to 242p per kg for a 608kg Limousin from Craignathro and purchased by Fleming Butchers, Arbroath and to £1567 per head for a 664kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by J. Chapman (Butchers) Ltd., Wishaw to average 232p per kg.

Heifers (17) sold to 254p per kg for a 553kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by J.B.  Penman Butchers, Crail and to £1459 per head for 603kg Limousin also from Nethermyres and purchased by Fleming Butchers, Arbroath to average 228p per kg.

A mixed Show of 768 Lambs were forward with leaner, plainer types harder to cash. Lambs sold to 200p for a pen of 46kg Texels from the Firm of J. & D. Finlayson, Largie and to £92 for the same lot to average 166p (back 1.5p on the week).

A Stronger show of 295 Cast Ewes were forward with trade slighty up on the week. Top Price of the day went to Messrs D. Stewart & Son, Mains of Dalrulzion for a pen of Texel Ewes reaching £90.
